Techno, it's not just tracks and performances of your favorite dj on parties and raves. It is a whole culture, style, way of thinking and life. If the word techno means to you something more, I suggest to know more about its culture and origins.
Here is a list of 5 movies that will help in this.

Film " Feiern "("Don't Forget to Go Home")

Filmed in 2006, it is dedicated to the style of techno and club culture of Berlin. The 82-minute documental picture features a party that doesn't stop for days. On the example of Panoramabar, it is  shown what is happening in the club and on the backstage, paying attention to the regulars of parties, famous DJs give interviews: Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano and Ewan Pearson.
The film reveals all facets, from positive to negative moments.
The film "Feiern" (in German sounds like a party, a celebration) also has a second name - "Don't Forget to Go Home". This is a statement by a Londoner, Evan Pearson, who has been in Berlin for a long time. This statement reflects the concept of many clubs in Berlin, clubs do not close their doors for several days in a row, becoming a second home for the Ravers.

Berlin the City of Techno/Electronic Music

As for techno music, Berlin is one of the few cities that is  perfect for techno events. Most people know Berghain and Tresor, but believe me, Berlin has something to surprise, there are more popular clubs in the city.
The first rave parties began in the dashing 1990s in abandoned basements and empty industrial buildings. Now there are no analogues of the Berlin techno scene. No other city has as many techno and electro clubs as Berlin.
This is the club Mecca not only for European tourists. Every weekend clubbers from all over the world come here for the celebration of life within the walls of this variety of parties and events. Berlin has become the club capital of the world due to its diversity, uniqueness, accessibility and friendliness.

The underground sounds of Paris

It`s a wonderful documentary about the techno scene in Paris. Over the past few years, the French capital has been able to match a little Berlin in the number of vinyl stores and underground clubs, enveloping the city with techno vibrations.

On the example of DJ Ickarus played by the unsurpassed Paul Kalkbrenner we see a real life of DJ with all the ups and downs. Gorgeous soundtracks actor only adds immersion to the character and image of the hero. This is a great film for all time, shot in 2008. Sincerely recommend to watch.
